My name is Dushime Alida and I am 22 years old.
I joined a UCE Club at Makamba High School in 2007. Different non Government organizations visited our school and taught us that the best ways to prevent ourselves from HIV/AIDS were abstinence or the use of condoms.

I felt very sad to hear that some of them were encouraging us to have sexual inter-courses using condoms. Fortunately, the Diocese of Makamba launched the UCE teaching with a clear message of abstinence as the best method to prevent us from   HIV/ AIDS.  I signed the commitment card as a sign that I embraced the real teaching, which is abstinence. I will share with my university mates what changes of life can be brought by UCE when I join Hope University next October.
