Iringa, Tanzania - Last month Bishop Martin Nyabho, the National Coordinator of UCE Burundi, and UCE Board Member Rev. Ephraim Radner paid a visit to the UCE Tanzania team. The visit allowed for those involved to carry out an important UCE objective and share lessons learned from their respective countries and programs. Bishop Martin and Rev. Radner joined Rev. Aidan Ulungi, Mr. Isaac Lema, Mr. Leonard Mgina, and other UCE Tanzania team members on an outreach where they were able to observe an UCE Tanzania in action and share their unique insights.
UCE Dignitaries Visit Tanzania121 form five and six students attended the outreach, which was held at Mwembetogwa Secondary School. 91 of these students signed commitment cards. The following day the team spoke in rural Iringa where 110 students signed commitment cards. The idea exchange was highly successful, and while there the teams also solidified ecumenical backing from the Christian leaders of Iringa.
