Donate to UCE

UCE is supported primarily by private donors, and we need your support! Any amount would be greatly appreciated and goes a long way towards supporting the UCE mission. UCE also accepts in-kind donations. For more information click here. Below are some examples of how donations are utilized.

Donations may also be made by check, made out to “Universal Chastity Education,” and mailed to:  PO BOX 3541  Pueblo, CO 81005

$50 prints 300 pledge cards, that is 300 lives to be saved!

Your Donation of $50 will purchase 300 pledge cards. That is 300 lives saved and changed forever! Each card is made with solid stock paper so that it will hold up over the years while a young person is carrying it. These cards are valued by many as one of their most prized possessions and a treasure that is presented to their spouse on their wedding day.

$100 sponsors 3 radio spots or a UCE banner

Your Donation of $100 will purchase either 3 short radio advertisements or a UCE banner. UCE occasionally uses radio messages to encourage young people in an area that has been recently reached by a UCE team. The messages reach thousands of people as radio is used much more than television as a medium for communication. UCE banners are used at outreaches, workshops, and special events where our teams have a ‘booth.’ They are a great way to reinforce the UCE message.

$350 sponsors an outreach to one school

Your Donation of $350 sponsors an outreach to one school. The team opens each session with prayer, song, and sometimes drumming! The outreaches are inspirational, passionate, and hopeful. They give students access to accurate information, and give them a message that they have been yearning for. Few who attend a UCE outreach are ever the same again. You will receive a description of the school outreach you sponsored, along with photos and the number of students reached.

$500 sponsors a radio show

Your donation of $500 will purchase a full 1 hour time slot for a UCE radio talk show. UCE often follows up outreaches by providing a very public forum to discuss abstinence, faithfulness in marriage, and HIV/AIDS prevention. Several UCE panelists partake in the talk show and in addition to giving the UCE message, the panelists take questions from callers and discuss difficult issues. These radio talk shows reach thousands of listeners. If you sponsor this event you will receive a description of the event and photos of the event. A transcript or mp3 recording will also be provided if possible (UCE is not always able to obtain one).

$1,000 sponsors outreaches to four schools

Your donation of $1,000 sponsors an outreach to four schools. The team opens each session with prayer, song, and sometimes drumming! The outreaches are inspirational, passionate, and hopeful. They give students access to accurate information, and give them a message that they have been yearning for. Few who attend a UCE outreach are ever the same again. At the conclusion of the outreach you will receive a report detailing what schools were reached, how many students signed commitment cards, stories from the outreach, photos from the outreach, and any feedback that was provided by UCE Team Members or those attending the outreach.

$3,000 sponsors a ten-school week-long outreach

Become a UCE Stakeholder and sponsor a full ten-school week long outreach! A full UCE outreach reaches between 2,000 and 4,000 young people. It reaches multiple schools and attempts to cover a full region. The teams visit two schools each day one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The team opens each session with prayer, song, and sometimes drumming! The outreaches are inspirational, passionate, and hopeful. They give students access to accurate information, and give them a message that they have been yearning for. Few who attend a UCE outreach are ever the same again. If you wish you may choose the country that you would like to sponsor. At the conclusion of the outreach you will receive a full report detailing what schools were reached, how many students signed commitment cards, stories from the outreach, photos from the outreach, and any feedback that was provided by UCE Team Members or those attending the outreach. Additionally, you will receive a message from a UCE Team member who participated in the outreach.

*Please note, when donating with Capital One it takes approximately one month for the record of your donation to reach UCE due to the Capital One system. UCE does receive 100% of the donation, with no fees, but there will be a delay of about 1 month before we acknowledge your donation. Your donation, however, will still be recorded on the date on which you donated.

Make an In-Kind Gift to Universal Chastity Education

Your gift can make a difference! For every $3 UCE spends, one chastity commitment is made. One life is forever changed! To reach one entire school costs only $350. In-kind donations allow UCE to further spread the message of Christ and chastity.

Universal Chastity Education is very grateful to the many donors who contribute in-kind gifts. UCE does have in-kind donation guidelines, and items are subject to refusal. All items must be clean, saleable, and in working condition.

Types of In-Kind Gifts:

In general, items with an estimated resale value of $50 can be donated. UCE can arrange for pickup of items, in Colorado, totaling $250 or more. Larger, heavier items should have an estimated resale value of $500. If you have questions, or if you would like to make an in-kind donation please email: contact@uceglobal.org.

What about a tax deduction?

Charities which are 501(c)3 approved may receive tax deductible donations. This includes in-kind gifts and services. Upon receipt of your donation, you will receive an in-kind donation receipt from UCE. This receipt will not have an estimated value. This is per IRS rules. You must assign a value to the gift when you file your taxes for that year. Items with a value greater than $5,000 may require an appraisal. This is an easy process, and usually costs less than $100. UCE would be happy to guide you in this process if it is needed.

Program Services:

The average nonprofit has administrative costs ranging from 20 – 50%. UCE’s administrative costs last year were 9%. UCE’s fundraising costs last year were 3%. This means that 88% or eighty-eight cents of every dollar goes directly towards chastity programs.
