Dr. Kim Dernovsek, board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology, is author of “Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases from Office to Globe” in the textbook, Preventive Dermatology. Dr. Dernovsek practiced dermatology for 36 years and lectured on “Teens and Sex: Reach them Now or Treat them Later” at meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology, Christian Medical and Dental Society, Catholic Medical Association, National Abstinence Education Association and Makerere University (Kampala, Uganda). The latter speaking engagement resulted in the co-founding of Universal Chastity Education (UCE). She has been interviewed about UCE on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), Catholic Radio Network (KFEL) and Redeemer Radio (Doctor, Doctor). She is recipient of a Women’s Dermatologic Society Career Enhancement Award, the American Academy of Dermatology Leadership Circle for Volunteerism, and the National Abstinence Clearinghouse Medical Impact Award. Dr. Dernovsek remains available for speaking engagements.
